Sam Ampomah is the Head of IT & Digitization at the Ministry of Health. He holds MSc. Health Informatics from University of Leeds, UK and Postgraduate Diploma in Management of Information Systems, GIMPA, Ghana. He has been working within the information technology and digitization space at the health sector for the past 17 years leading strategic digital health policy developments and coordinating the implementation of information systems such as the National eHealth project (LHIMS, the Logistics Management Information System (GhiLMIS) etc
