Dr. Oheneba Owusu-Danso is the Chief Executive of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH). He holds a Bachelor of Science (Human Biology) as well as MB ChB degrees from the School of Medical Sciences, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. He also has a Postgraduate Diploma in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) in Healthcare from the Bloomberg School of Public Health, John Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland in the United States of America. He pursued his specialist training in Plastic, Aesthetic and Hand Surgery at the Diakonie Hospital, Rotenburg-Wumme under the University of Goettigen, Germany. He is a Fellow of the Ghana College of Surgeons as well as the West African College of Surgeons. He is a strong advocate for best practices in quality assurance in a comprehensive health care delivery system. He is a Trustee of the Commonwealth Medical Association Trust.
