Mr. Stephen Bewong joined the NHIA in March 2010 as a Business Systems Manager to spearhead the implementation of Claims Processing Software, Electronic Claims, National Claims Register, Claims Digitization among others, current implementations include integration of all NHIA Data sources for Data Analytics and National scale up of electronic claims implementation. Stephen has a master’s degree in Information Technology from the University of Tasmania, Australia and has over 18years experience in the IT sector with Global firms in Australia, Singapore and the USA . Mr. Bewong is currently a Deputy Director of NHIA responsible for Business Systems in the organization.
