Bright Amissah – Nyarko is the National Chairman of the Ghana Coalition of NGOs in Health, a CSO coalition with over 350 NGOs in Ghana. The coalition is deeply involved in social mobilization, advocacy, social accountability and community systems strengthening for health programs across all regions in Ghana. Bright has been involved in several strategic meetings with the MOH, Ghana Health service and international partners for the development of health policies and strategies for the sector. His work and interest have been in, policy planning, community development, Advocacy, communication and social mobilization, organizational development, and project management. He has good working knowledge of the Health sector in Ghana especially EPI, maternal, newborn and child health (MNCH), HIV and AIDS, Malaria, Health Financing and Sexual Reproductive Health among others. He consults for organizations on social & behavior change communication and demand generation strategies.  His knowledge in community participation is deep and very well informed in public health issues. He studied Sociology in the University of Ghana and holds professional certificates in Project management, Organizational development and Gender analysis. He represents CSOs in Health on National Level Health Sector platforms and steering committee meetings including;

He is a dynamic and result oriented person with background in social science, health administration and project management.
