Dr. Ofosu is the Deputy Director General of the GHS and a Senior Public Health Physician with interest in health system strengthening and using ICT to address service bottlenecks. He is a fellow of the Ghana College of Physicians and also holds an MSc in Epidemiology from the London School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. He has over 28 years of experience in the public health sector, 27 years of which has been in leadership and management positions. He was formerly the Deputy Director in charge of Information Monitoring and Evaluation Department under PPMED. In that position, he was instrumental in improving the health information system, which included leading in the nation-wide roll out of DHIS2 and etracker for primary healthcare facilities
